Two very different bridal looks, one incredible team of vendors, in one inspiring city. From the moment of this shoot's conception, we all knew it was going to be magical; perhaps even life changing. We had approached wedding planner, Anna, with Perception by Anna Dickinson with the idea of collaborating on a local styled shoot. Her response changed everything. She raised the standard a little higher and caused us to dream a little bigger by proposing the shoot be held in London! While the entire shoot was a learning process for all of us, it was our heart's desire to create a bridal session that highlighted the opposing aesthetics of this charismatic city: ethereal romance and modern edge. 

Our Favorite Moments

As we reminisce on this incredible shoot, there are too many memorable moments to list. Perhaps one of our favorite memories is simply getting to shoot at coveted locations like Kensington Palace (the home of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton) and 10 Downing Street (home of the Prime Minister), as well as more subtle locations like cozy mews lining cobblestone streets, drenched with character. Another favorite moment was gathering our details for the flat-lay. While Anna artfully and skillfully designed and drew the stationary, we were lacking some fun details! The night before the shoot, we scoured through thrift shops, consignment stores and general stores looking for those perfect nods to London. We ended up with some great finds, such as the beautiful, green velvet heels, fashion magazine and white gloves, which you'll see in the flat-lay photos. We loved being challenged with the task of creating and styling on a whim! Lastly, another favorite moment came at the end of the shoot, when we wanted to feature a taxi. We were looking for a specific model of taxi, black only, no ads, and it was quite the sight! Our whole team would wave a taxi down, give it a quick assessment, then send them on their way. We finally found the perfect one!

We are so grateful to each and every vendor who sacrificed their time, effort, product, or talent for such an inspiring shoot!
