The Rehearsal Dinner
Carly and Payton kicked off their early spring wedding weekend with their closest family and friends for a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at The Garden Room in Fayetteville. They enjoyed a seated candlelit dinner around gorgeous arrangements of soft blue hydrangeas and white roses, as Carly’s matron of honor and Payton’s best man gave heartfelt toasts. The evening gave way to a welcome party that night as more invited guests made their way to see the bride and groom! Carly was glowing in her stunning rehearsal dinner dress, made complete with the bow from her mother’s original wedding gown. We love special details like these!
The Wedding Day
Carly and Payton’s wedding was everything an early spring wedding should be; the skies were the prettiest blue, the weather was absolutely perfect, the florals were bright and happy, and nature was coming back to life again. However, though wonderful, this actually isn’t what makes Carly and Payton’s wedding day special. Carly and Payton share such a special story! Before Carly was born, her parents began taking a Lamaze class, and during the course of the class met two other couples and instantly became lifelong friends. Carly, and the daughter of one of the couples and her maid of honor, became best friends too! However, Payton happened to be best friends with Carly’s best friend’s brother. So these two grew up visiting the same friends’ home, inadvertently spending weekends and summers together. Though Payton wasn’t on Carly’s radar, Carly was everything Payton dreamed of, and he did just that throughout his childhood. Eventually these two became good friends themselves, and then, of course, fell in love.
