A Vail Colorado Adventure Engagement Session
Some love stories are inseparable from a place — and for Maddie and Barrett, that place has always been Vail.
This charming, European-inspired mountain town is where their relationship first began. It’s where memories were made long before wedding plans were ever in motion.
So when it came time to choose a setting to commit their lives to one another, there was no question. They would return to the place where it all started.
As the weekend began, we arrived in Vail just in time. That afternoon, we spent time with Maddie and Barrett during their adventure session, tucked into the mountains that have always felt like home to them.
Surrounded by sweeping views, crisp alpine air, and that unmistakable Vail charm, the weekend began exactly as it should — unhurried, meaningful, and full of anticipation.
There’s something special, after all, about photographing a couple in a place that already holds so much history for them. Every laugh feels deeper. Every quiet moment more grounded.
Because of that, their connection to one another — and to this place — was undeniable.
A Vail Rehearsal Dinner to Remember
That evening, the rehearsal dinner set the tone for the entire weekend — swanky, sultry, and delightfully eccentric.
Guests gathered at the legendary Kemo Sabe, where custom hats became the unofficial uniform of the night. From there, everyone made their way down the street to Chasing Rabbits.
One of Vail’s most unique venues, it buzzed with energy and excitement.
Laughter echoing. Glasses clinking. The weekend fully underway.
Inside, the atmosphere was warm and celebratory — filled with incredible food, heartfelt toasts, and the kind of laughter that only comes when everyone in the room truly knows and loves the couple.
As a result, it was the perfect prelude to what was still to come.

Vail’s natural beauty served as the perfect backdrop, but the heart of the day was always Maddie and Barrett — their history, their joy, and the future they’re building together.
A Full Circle Vail Wedding Celebration
From an adventure session in the mountains to a rehearsal dinner filled with character and charm, to a wedding day rooted in meaning and place—this weekend felt like a beautiful full-circle moment.
It was truly a dream getting to celebrate Maddie and Barrett in Vail, the very town where their love story was first born. We’ll never forget this weekend, these views, or these two incredible humans.
