Welcome Party at Blackberry Farm

The wedding weekend began with a vibrant welcome party at Bramble Hall at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee. From the very beginning, it set the tone for an editorial summer celebration in the Smoky Mountains.
While Caroline and Luke slipped away for portraits in the hidden wine cellar, guests, in the meantime, were greeted with a thoughtful surprise. Upon arrival, each person received a custom tote with their name. From there, they stepped into a curated marketplace filled with local foods, artisanal treats, and a Blackberry Farm cookbook.
Inside, vibrant yellow florals brought the warmth of a Tennessee summer to life. At the same time, guests sipped cocktails, listened to live acoustic music, and gathered for a family-style dinner. As the evening unfolded, the father of the bride officially welcomed everyone. In that moment, his words marked the heartfelt beginning of the Blackberry Farm wedding weekend.

Poolside Celebration in the Smoky Mountains

The following afternoon, Caroline and Luke hosted a playful poolside gathering at the Farmside Pool at Blackberry Farm. Meanwhile, friends soaked in the Smoky Mountain sunshine as anticipation for the wedding day continued to build.
To honor their beloved dachshund, Mr. Charles, they thoughtfully incorporated whimsical wiener-dog details throughout the design. For example, beach balls, towels, bucket hats, and sunglasses added a cheerful, personal touch.
As a result, the atmosphere felt both lighthearted and intentional. In many ways, the pool party captured the effortless charm of a summer wedding weekend at Blackberry Farm.

Rehearsal Dinner in the Wine Cellar

That evening, Caroline and Luke gathered with their families and wedding party for an intimate multi-course rehearsal dinner in the wine cellar at Blackberry Farm. Tucked beneath the estate, the hidden space created a warm, candlelit atmosphere from the very start.
Throughout the dinner, heartfelt toasts honored their shared history and the life they are building together. As the evening progressed, guests gradually moved from the cellar to Bramble Hall.
There, the remainder of the wedding guests joined for an energetic after-party. Soon after, the celebration continued late into the night. Ultimately, it felt like a joyful crescendo leading into their Blackberry Farm wedding day.

Blackberry Farm Wedding Day

A Smoky Mountain Wedding Morning
As the sun rose over the Smoky Mountains, it gradually lifted the morning fog from the rolling hills of Blackberry Farm. In doing so, the estate revealed the breathtaking setting where Caroline and Luke would soon step into marriage.
They began dating in sixth grade. Over the years, their love was shaped by prayer, hope, and steadfast commitment. Because of that shared history, the celebration carried even deeper meaning.

An Outdoor Ceremony Overlooking the Hills
The weekend culminated in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the rolling hills of Blackberry Farm. There, abundant tulips and airy grasses framed the altar with natural elegance.
As Caroline walked the long aisle with her father, guests quietly took in the stillness of the moment. In that space, they felt the weight of her presence, the sweeping mountain views, and the significance of a love story years in the making.
Because of the setting and their shared history, the ceremony felt both grounded in nature and deeply sacred.

Cocktail Hour and Reception at Blackberry Farm
Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the main lawn of The Barn at Blackberry Farm for cocktail hour. Soon after, they joined Caroline and Luke inside for a seated dinner.
Meanwhile, the Smoky Mountains provided a sweeping backdrop for the evening. Inside, Blackberry Farm’s renowned culinary team prepared each course and served it in seamless unison. As a result, the dining experience felt both refined and effortless. In fact, this level of service is a signature element of a wedding weekend at the estate.
After heartfelt toasts and cake cutting, the celebration shifted once more. This time, a trumpet led guests from The Barn to Bramble Hall. There, cocktails flowed and the dance floor quickly came alive.
